MEET THE CWiE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Rayna has been a CWiE member for 4 years and is actively involved in volunteering and networking within the group. She previously held the position of Co-Director of Membership and was on the subcommittee for Social Media/Content Coordinator. Rayna also co-organized and hosted CWiE's first Executive Forum - Allies in Energy.
Rayna holds a Degree in International Relations and a minor in Business Management and Society.
Jana Hackman has been a member of CWiE for the past 5 years. She currently holds the position of Vice President. She was previously the Director of Community Involvement and has served on several subcommittees within our organization.
Jana is a Commercial Account Executive and Team Lead at Axia FibreNet, a company dedicated to providing high bandwidth speed, scalability, and reliability which organizations need to grow and compete today and into the future. Jana has over 8 years of experience working with the energy sector, providing best-in-class cloud solutions which can help take their business to the next level. She is known for her ability to provide strategic solutions and work with the leadership team to achieve their business objectives. Jana has two children who currently are attending Mount Royal University and in her free time she enjoys heading to the mountains with family and friends.
Director of Technical Education
Shauna has been a member of Calgary Women in Energy for over 9 years. She was the Director of Membership for 5 years and currently holds the Director of Technical Education role. Shauna strives to bring inspiring and educational speakers to the group. Currently, Shauna is the Calgary Sales Representative for ArticTherm which provides an efficient Flameless Heat and Heat Technology for multiple applications using portable equipment to remote locations for the extreme climate challenges. Artic Therm is part of the Enterprise Group of companies which provides specialized equipment in the build out of infrastructure for the energy, utility, pipeline, construction, mining transportation, and agriculture industry.
Director of Membership
Grace is currently Co-Director of Membership for CWiE. A mother of two and a wife who successfully holds a fast paced and diversified career in Oil & Gas. Grace has been serving the O&G Industry for over 12 years now, with a focus on sales and training. Grace’s passion is building long standing client relationships.
Her current position at Sky Eye and Caron Controls, as an Account Manager allows her to grow professionally, not only in Canada, but the US and Mexican markets as well.
Grace is driven in supporting her community whether that be raising funds for the Big-Hearted Mavericks or raising funds and awareness on Human Trafficking.
Director of Membership
Andrea has been actively involved in CWiE since 2017, attending minglers, technical presentations, and volunteering on the Golf Committee, including chairing the 2019 Golf Tournament. She is currently the Co-Director of Membership and is passionate about bringing like-minded people together to share ideas and valuable resources within the Energy industry.
Andrea is an Executive Assistant at MNP - a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Andrea holds a degree in Communications with a Minor in Music, and in her spare time she enjoys singing, playing piano, and spending time with her family and friends.
Director of Communications
Mikenna has been a member of CWIE since 2020 and quickly became the Director of Communications in 2021. She is working alongside the women in this organization to help maximize CWIE’s potential and evolve our brand to highlight our mission and emphasize the “why” that power’s our aspirations.
Mikenna holds a Bachelor of Design degree and is the Creative Director at RGE Solutions. As a dedicated and innovative professional, she develops customized technical marketing and digital optimization strategies that enable companies to thrive as industry leaders. Mikenna is a creative executive who highlights companies unique value proposition, strategically evolves brands and builds teams and environments that cultivate creativity, drives connections and delivers results.
Director of Community Involvement
Jenn has been an active member with Calgary Women in Energy attending multiple networking events, membership breakfasts, volunteering events, and most recently volunteering her time on the Golf Committee.
She is also actively involved with Wings of Hope which is a 100% volunteer run organization that provides financial relief allowing breast cancer patients to focus on their recovery.
Jenn has 10+ year’s experience in Sales/Business Development, working within Oil & Gas and Technology helping large Fortune 500 companies. She is skilled at creating valuable and highly collaborative relationships with both clients and partners, to serve as a trusted business advisor to their core business needs. She is currently the Regional Sales Manager serving Southern AB/Southern BC & Manitoba for Portable Gas Detection at Honeywell.
SueAnne has been a member of the CWiE organization and Board of Directors for over 9 years and manages to keep all deliverables, agenda items and meetings organized and accounted for throughout the group's development. SueAnne's background in project management, people analytics and management consulting experience in the Energy industry make her a great asset to the Board of Directors.
Director of Events
Tara has been a member of CWIE for the past 5 years. She has actively volunteered for the Calgary Women in Energy annual golf tournament and has represented CWIE at several industry events and conferences. Tara is an advocate for promoting women in the workplace and mentoring women in the industry.
Tara holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, with a minor in marketing, a hospitality management diploma, and a construction project management certificate. She has worked across multiple sectors of the industry over the years in various business development, sales & marketing roles. Tara is the Manager of Marketing and Sales, Canada for Railserve Inc., a Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway company that is leading provider of on-site rail services in North America.
Stephanie joined CWIE in 2020 and became a highly active member by attending the Technical Sessions and volunteering to support the 2021 CWIE Golf Tournament Treasurer.
She is a coach for young athletes in cross country skiing and a volunteer role model for female athletes at Fast and Female, a non-profit promoting to keep young girls in sports.
Stephanie works as a professional engineer in chemical process design and solutions and currently works at a technology company for Biofuel production. She is known for bringing creativity to her designs and working compassionately with others in order to build strong working relationships.
