About the Event
At Pembina, Justin is responsible for leading the company’s public policy, government relations, and community engagement activities in Canada and the United States. He works closely with Pembina’s business units and various governments and external stakeholders to support the company’s operations and capital projects. Justin has extensive experience and involvement with the engagement of internal and external stakeholders in the energy and financial services industry. He was a Director in the Energy, Environment & Resources practice group at Global Public Affairs, a Director of Clean Energy Financing at Energy Efficiency Alberta, and also previously served as the Director of Policy, Research & Government Relations at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, responsible for developing and executing the organization’s public and government affairs strategy and advocating on behalf of Calgary’s business community. Justin got his start in government and politics in New York, first with the Office of the Governor, and later with the New York State Senate. During that time, he was responsible for policy development and strategic communications planning in a variety of issue areas, notably energy policy, infrastructure development, and the regulation of the financial services industry.
