As a member of Calgary Women in Energy (CWIE), you will join a community of diverse and dynamic women in Calgary’s energy industry. Our website, regular newsletters and email correspondence will keep you informed of opportunities to volunteer, network and engage in professional development. You will have opportunities to volunteer, to lead and to learn.


CWIE hosts exclusive technical education sessions from Professionals in our industry every month on various topics that relate to oil, gas and energy to further your technical knowledge in our sector.


   Requirements to be a part of the CWIE team are simple;

  • Have professional involvement in the oil, gas and energy industry in Alberta

  • Commit to attending our social events community initiatives and technical sessions we host throughout the year

  • Be supportive, professional and reflect our mission and vision to build our community of women in the industry further

After your meeting, we suggest you attend two events that CWIE hosts to make sure this is the right fit for you.  These can be any of our events including volunteer opportunities, technical sessions and social networking. Click the links for further information on all events hosted. 

Complete your full membership application form which will be provided by our Directors of Membership upon your completion of the events. 

Registration is $105/year - renewal on April 1 - with all membership fees going directly to local charities.
