Andrea Sedgwick - Manager, Technology Access Centre for Oil Sands Sustainability - NAIT
Andrea is the Ledcor Applied Research Chair at the Technology Access Centre for Oil Sands Sustainability and is the TAC manager. She leads a team of experts in the areas of water treatment, oil characterization interface properties, tailings, oil sands characterization and extraction. Andrea has a master's degree in Engineering Management and more than 25 years of industry experience including all aspects of upstream surface oil sands development (mining, extraction, tailings and water management). Prior to her journey to oil sands, she worked in the Elk Valley for Elkview Coal. Andrea has a passion for finding solutions to enable sustainability in operations and the environment.
