Our Technical Session, held every third Thursday of the month, features guest speakers talking about relevant industry topics.
We are kicking off our September session with Serge Paquette. He has over has over 17 years experience in the Energy industry with various roles in planning, designing and construction management of heavy oil facilities, batteries, compressor stations and engineering projects. Serge started his career as a Journeyman Instrument Mechanic with a Red Seal Field of Study Electromechanical Instrumentation and Maintenance. From there he worked at many global companies including CNRL and Petro Canada, and local engineering firms like RRP, Millenia Engineering and North Ridge Projects. He now resides with Gibson Energy as a Senior Commercial Development Representative.
Due to his significant experience & expertise in midstream development, Serge excelled in his role as Manager of Major Projects and nautrally progressed to the role of Senior Commercial Development Representative. Serge and the Commercial team deliver efficient, quality and consistent projects through a focused approach that builds strong competencies, motivation and satisfaction for companies, clients and teams in Gibson’s Edmonton and Hardisty terminals.
