Equinox Engineering is a local, private company providing complete EPCM services for facilities and pipeline design and installation. They have executed over 7,000 oil and gas facility and pipeline projects globally over their 24 years in business, ranging in value from $5M to $750M TIC. Equinox’s primary focus is the hydrocarbon industry including facility and pipeline projects for natural gas, conventional oil, and heavy oil markets. The in-house EPCM services include Project Management, Feasibility Studies, Conceptual & Basic Engineering, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction Management, Commissioning & Start-up, and Operations & Maintenance. Equinox offers industry leading expertise in natural gas processing, with a specialization in carbon capture.
Equinox is nearing completion of detailed design for one of the largest CCS projects currently underway globally, reflecting some of the lowest lifecycle costs. Equinox successfully executed the pre-FEED, FEED and are currently in Detailed Design for this project, which will permanently store 1.7 million tonnes of CO2 per year. Equinox provided the engineering for the CO2 capture, CO2 compression and dehydration, CO2 pipeline and CO2 sequestration.
This presentation will speak to the fundamentals of Carbon Capture; an overview of the stages and varying processes, as well as referencing project metrics.
