About the Event
Marie is a Sustainability Lead at ARC Resources. Marie leads ARC’s ESG reporting and disclosure efforts and she supports the development and integration of sustainability strategy within the organization. Marie has been a corporate sustainability practitioner for almost 12 years. She has held sustainability roles at Enbridge and Canadian Business for Social Responsibility.
In June 2020, Marie co-founded a non-profit organization called Diversity in Sustainability. The organization is aimed at promoting equity, diversity and inclusion in the field of sustainability.
Marie has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Calgary and a Masters of Science in Sustainability from the Faculty of Management at the University of Bath (UK). When she is not working, Marie is an avid volunteer. She supports various initiatives dedicated to education and mentoring.
